Aug. 14, 2026 – A deputy wrote that they responded to the home after Hilton’s sister, Barbara, reported that he was inside with a knife cutting himself. The sister said Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, had been suicidal the previous week and had been taken to a hospital for help, the report said. But on the day of the incident, Hilton’s sister said he had been “unusually quiet” and had locked the door to his bedroom, which was unusual, the report said.
His sister said she became concerned when Hilton refused to come out of a bathroom, so she unlocked the door and found him inside naked and covered in blood, the report said.
