Let the Trials Begin –

Feb. 12, 2019  – Sean Krizan said he can’t remember how many checks he received for referring his sober home’s residents to treatment centers across Palm Beach County, but he does remember receiving several checks from Nick Cirio for thousands of dollars. Assistant State Attorney Justin Chapman asked Krizan on Tuesday if he knew what he was doing was wrong. He said it wasn’t until he started seeing others in the recovery industry arrested that he understood it was a crime. But, even before then, he said what they were doing didn’t feel right. “It wasn’t like we were going to Starbucks and openly discussing in front of people,” Krizan said in court.
