A TRAGIC TREND? –
June 25, 2026 – Responding officers found five unconscious people, all suspected of drug overdoses, who were treated at the scene. Police told DC News Now that officers administered Narcan to three men and two women. According to the police report obtained by DC News Now, officers and medics located some victims outside on DTLR on H Street. While on the scene, first responders received another call for more people on 14th Street and H Street NE.
Of the five victims, one man was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
