LESS TURBULENCE –

May 5, 2023 – The Financial Times ranked Athletic Brewing as the fourth fastest-growing company in the country in 2021, and by 2022, the company had made it onto Time’s list of the 100 Most Influential Companies, as noted by Tasting Table. “In our continued effort to provide customers with an onboard experience customized to their needs and preferences, JetBlue is proud to be the first major U.S. airline to serve non-alcoholic beer,” Mariya Stoyanova, director of product development of JetBlue said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to partner with industry leader Athletic Brewing to offer our customers the refreshing, balanced taste of a classic craft Golden without the alcohol.”

The announcement is part of JetBlue’s ongoing effort to satisfy passengers with a wide variety of dietary preferences, notes Travel Noire. Upside Dawn is a refreshingly light beer that is also gluten free. Premium Vienna malt and a blend of English and American hops give it a crisp flavor with floral and earthy undertones. For those who track calories and macronutrients, the alcohol-free drink option has only 45 calories and 10 grams of carbs. Athletic Brewing, which debuted in 2018, has won accolades for its alcohol-free beers made using a proprietary brewing process. No alcohol-based solvents or other similar methods are used by the company. To keep its non-alcoholic beers below the 0.5% ABV threshold required by law in the United States, Athletic Brewing uses a full fermentation process.
