KETAMINE SUPPLIER CHARGED –

May 13, 2026 – Erik Fleming, one of five people charged in connection with the overdose death of actor Matthew Perry, was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release on Wednesday, May 13. Fleming, a TV director and former acquaintance of Perry’s, pleaded guilty in August 2024 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death, per a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

The Friends actor died at the age of 54 after an accidental drug overdose at his Pacific Palisades home on Oct. 28, 2023.

An autopsy later determined that Perry died from acute effects of ketamine, as well as other contributing factors such as drowning, coronary artery disease and effects from buprenorphine, a medication used to treat opioid use disorder.

According to prosecutors, Fleming admitted he distributed the ketamine — which he obtained from so-called “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha — that ultimately killed Perry. Fleming also admitted to distributing 50 vials of ketamine to Perry’s live-in personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa.
