“Anonymity is important to maintain the principles of the AA program, so it is not represented by or associated with any individual members, and to protect the individual member also,” she said.
Linda recalled that on Jan. 9, 2014, her husband requested “one of those we need to talk, talks.”
“I had slurred my words badly the night before, again,” she said. “I had been innocently drinking myself into a stupor in my bedroom while watching TV. I came out to say goodnight. I was barely able to push the words, ‘goodnight’ out of my mouth, to my husband who was watching TV in the family room.
