Carey admitted that he wasn’t living the healthiest lifestyle before his weight loss transformation, as he would frequently go to a diner after taping The Price Is Right during his first year on the show, where he would eat, “a plate of pasta, a cupcake and iced tea with a bunch of lemons.” “Then I’d go home, have Doritos and several Pepsis, and take an Ambien to go to sleep. It was miserable to live like that,” he added.
