March 25, 2024 – Ms. Seyfried appeared ready ‘to serve and to protect’ while working on her latest project. The Mama Mia! actress looked official wearing a patrol uniform of a black shirt and slacks with a heavy jacket embroidered with police seal.
She’s starring as a Philadelphia police officer in Long Bright River based on 2020 novel by the same name. The natural beauty was made up to appear barefaced and her long, blonde hair was styled in a low bun.
The actress was pictured behind the wheel of a police car for the scene.
To prepare for the job, Seyfried went for a ride-along with some real Philly cops, along with author Liz Moore, according PhillyVoice.com.
Seyfried grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The versatile actress will star as Mickey, ‘a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis.
‘When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case,’ according to the logline for the project.
