1982 – A great performance from Gil Scott-Heron and the Midnight Band, live at the Wax Museum Nightclub. So beautiful, it’s my favorite. The melancholy trumpet and the fluttering bird like flute on its barren treetop. It feels very apt for today. Long Live Democracy.
