Oct. 18, 2023 – The Environment Department will be focusing on a few key areas to do this: Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Bernalillo. Kenny said it’s crucial to understand the impact of fentanyl and other opioids near public schools.
“I don’t think there’s anyone in New Mexico who isn’t affected by opioid abuse and illicit drugs like fentanyl,” Kenney said.
