Oct. 7, 2018 – Its authors say the findings could be a ‘public health warning’ and that junk food, lack of exercise and pollution may be fuelling the crisis. Only last year experts warned that the human species could face extinction, after it emerged that the average sperm count in Western countries had more than halved in a generation. The new findings are to be presented this week at the annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in Denver, Colorado.
