Dec. 29, 2022 – Pointing out that rehabilitation centres are ashrams to free the abusers from addiction, he appealed to the armed revolutionary groups of Manipur to refrain from making monetary demands on rehabilitation centres.
Managing director of Yaipokpa, Lakhikumar Soram, stated that the rehab centre was established with the objective of fighting the issue of drug menace in the state.
In the last three years, the rehab has been able to bring as many as 60 drug users to the mainstream, he informed, seeking the support of the people of Manipur to successfully overcome the issue of drug menace in the state.
