VIDEO – TO ANYONE! –

MAY 15, 2024  – A message of hope from the depths of darkness.

Elmore Smith, a recovered drug addict, said. “When you see me, you see hope, you see a miracle, because I was the one that could be trusted. I was the one that people gave up on.”

Smith’s story coincides with some promising new data from the CDC. It shows drug overdose deaths decreased last year for the first time since 2018.

The provisional data show deaths from overdoses decreased by three percent last year. But that still amounts to more than 107,000 people who lost their lives.

Smith hopes his story will encourage more people to reach out for help.

“I was struggling with cocaine, I was struggling with marijuana, and I was struggling with alcohol,” Smith said.
