Money Motivates… –
June 15, 2019 – OASAS will not renew its contract with J-CAP after it expires on June 30 unless it affiliates with another drug treatment program, according to a lawsuit against J-CAP filed last week by two employees.
The inpatient rehab program serves up to 192 people, some of whom are sent by the court system. The situation is so dire that the state told J-CAP to stop accepting new patients about a month ago, according to workers. Some employees have been laid off or demoted to part-time.
