LEAD HER TO SOBRIETY –

Nov. 22, 2025 – The Blindspot Star reflected on her struggle with alcoholism and the moment she nearly died after her appendix ruptured. She said was in the worse pain of her life when she “heard a voice” telling her to never drink again. She’s been sober ever since, adding, “It took almost dying for me to wake up and start living.” The 41-year-old explained that she was the type of alcoholic who would “drink heavily, make terrible decisions, and justify some pretty s— behavior.” However, she didn’t realize she had a problem until she got snowed in while on a trip with a new boyfriend. She called it “the beginning of the end.”

“No booze anywhere. Believe me—I checked every nook and cranny,” she recalled. “I should probably mention that, at this point, I hadn’t gone a single day without a drink in years. Yikes. Panic started creeping in. I didn’t have my flask with me, and honestly, I had no clue how I was going to survive the night sober while pretending everything was fine in front of my new boyfriend. I felt like I was standing at the gates of hell, trying not to sweat.”
