Golf Pro Inspires: “We all deserve a mulligan in life.”

June 16, 2023 – Frattarelli said, “That business (golf industry) was so prideful you had to be arrogant you had to unfortunately to survive. Being in the golf business, it was accepted; golf made me think it’s okay to drink while I worked.”

On and off the course, and frankly, all the time, he was drinking.

“That was my lifestyle,” he said. “I’m sure everyone knew I was drinking, but no one said anything, and then I started hiding it after.”

Frattarelli went for professional help.

When asked if he went through a short-term program, if that would’ve helped his addiction, he said, “I did, and I hate to say it, but I’ll be honest, I relapsed on Listerine in the men’s locker room as I just went through 100 days in a patient at a facility.”
