A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS –

February 18, 2026 – Chrissy Teigen got by with a little help from her new friends.  One month after the model shared that she had restarted her sobriety journey after a relapse, she detailed how her fellow Star Search judges Jelly Roll and Sarah Michelle Gellar were a huge help in keeping her on track.  “This is the very first set I’ve ever been on where I didn’t have a drink where I didn’t ever want one, I was just high off the fact that I got to be next to you guys, so thank you,” she told her costars in an interview at the show’s finale premiere. “I could make the longest most emotional speech about how important this was for me in showing me that I could just show up and enjoy life and be stupid and be weird and have people around to joke with and not need that stuff.”

Indeed, the 40-year-old—who shares Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 3, and Wren, 2, with John Legend—admitted that she used to rely on winding down from work with a drink. As she put it, “I’ve lived with bottles in my set for so long and I just got so used to it.”

And for the reality personality, Chrissy’s Star Search pals make sober life especially fun.

“We were once called a nightmare blunt rotation,” she joked, “and I think we’d be the most epic blunt rotation personally.”

She emphasized, “It’s been really special getting to know them.”

Meanwhile, Jelly assured Chrissy, “Sobriety looks great on you.”
