He Needs More Equine Therapy –
Oct. 25, 2019 – In Episode 1 ‘A Horse Walks into a Rehab’, the story picks up right where Season 5 left it with BoJack (Will Arnett) checking into Pastiches rehab. The celebrity rehabilitation center puts him through a long series of therapies, most of which he sucks at, but by the end of his six weeks at the Malibu rehab facility, BoJack is feeling great and ready to get back to his world. “I feel good,” he declares. “I feel clear.” But despite how positive he seems to have gotten, BoJack is still using humor to distract himself from confronting his issues.
In the process, he gets very annoyed at the rehab center’s philosophy that people aren’t responsible for their addictions. When he’s asked to come clean on his past, he instead lashes out about how rehabs prey on the people they are supposedly trying to cure and also tells off his fellow patients for hiding behind their own facades.
