November 18, 2025 – Art was my healing process when I finally decided to stop using drugs and alcohol. It would quiet my mind to be able absorb the recovery process with the 12 steps, filming, painting, and writing were my first forms of self-expression.
Q. If you are in recovery, what was your drug(s) of choice and when is your sobriety date?
A. Alcohol and crack cocaine, Jan. 16, 2012.
Q. Is there anything special in your sobriety toolkit that helps keep you sober?
A. If I don’t give the dope man any miner I won’t get high.
Q. Do you think addiction is an illness, disease, a choice, or a wicked twist of fate?
A. More so I believe it starts with a choice, and if you know recovery and everything it offers and you still choose to relapse, THATS I WAS BKRN A CHOICE.
Q. Where are you from and where do you reside now?
A. I was born in Cuba, raised in Miami, and currently live in Ft. Pierce, Fl.
Q. What is one word you would use to describe yourself?
A. Foreel.
Q. Describe how you came to your “rock bottom” point.
A. I got to my rock bottom after I finished with all my great thinking, all my great ideas of how it would be different this time, that I would only drink, not smoke crack, maybe if I moved cities, etc.
Q. If you ever retire, would you prefer to live by the ocean, lake, river, mountaintop, desert, or penthouse?
A. Def ocean.
Q. How do you measure success?
A. I measure success by the amount of peace you have with all the responsibilities you acquire as business owner.
Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?
A. A dirty house.
Q. If you had an extra million dollars, which charity would you donate it to?
A. An inner-city youth drug and crime prevention program.
Q. Who has been the biggest influence throughout your life?
A. My mom and daughter.
Q. If you could give advice to your younger self what would it be?
A. DON’T DO IT! Think about the consequences.
Q. Who made you feel seen growing up?
A. Nobody, I was the overlooked kid.
Q. From what school of thought or teacher did you learn the most from?
A. Prison, school of hard knocks.
Q. What major event or realization shaped who you are?
A. My first film festive “Reel Recovery FF Delray Edition,” my first nomination with a year clean.
Q. What do you love most about living sober?
A. I get to keep my money lol.
Q. Which part of your treatment and recovery do you feel was the most interesting or unexpected?
A. For me the arts was instrumental, painting and being creative in my early recovery.

A. GOD.

A. Cancer.

A. Eminem.

A. Basic text of Narcotics Anonymous.

A. Alexander Dumas, Robert Ludlum, & John Grisham

A. My Book, “From Revolution 2 Revelations.”

A. My daughter, my Mom.

A. Recovery album, I was in rehab really trying to get it that time and Eminem killed it with that album.

A. Seafood pasta.

A. A Latin Bachata singer Romeo Santos
Q. What are five things you always carry with you?
A. God, recovery, faith, drive, positive attitude.
Q. What is the best and or worse piece of advice someone has given you?
A. Best advice was keep coming back, meaning the meetings. Worst advice, you can’t do it.
Q. What is the best piece of advice you’ve given someone else?
A. When you stop using drugs & alcohol YOU’ve given yourself a raise.
Q. What is one thing that always makes you smile?
A. My granddaughter and a newcomer that picks up an anniversary clean time key tag or chip.
Q. What do you value most in a friendship?
A. Loyalty.
Q. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A. I thought become a homeowner in recovery would be it, but I’ve written a book, done 10 documentaries, have a successful business, but is none of them, my greatest achievement has been showing my daughter her Father is no quitter.
Q. What is your favorite compliment to receive, and why?
A. You an artist, the reason is I answer no am the CANVAS I Just let God use me as his vessel.
Q. What is your biggest fear?
A. Time, we all run out.
Q. Where do you go when you’re seeking solitude?
A. Beach and paint.
Q. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
A. None.
Q. What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?
A. No problems with the business, a meeting, gym and hanging out with my loved ones and friends.
Q. What is your biggest regret?
A. Losing my last girlfriend, I did some great thinking that didn’t work out well. LOL.
Q. What is the greatest risk you’ve ever taken?
A. Starting my business.
Q. Have you ever been arrested and, if so, what for?
A. Armed burglary, grand theft, dealing in stolen property.
Q. What is something you’ve learned about yourself in the last six months?
A. What I feel today is not what am going to feel tomorrow.
Q. What is something you are currently curious about?
A. A new business venture.

A. My drive.
Q. What do you like most about 12-step meetings?
A. The love.

A. When my monthly bills came out to $30k a month LOL.

A. Very.
