SOFTBALL TRAGEDY –
October 22, 2025 – Four members of the same softball team were found dead from apparent drug overdoses inside a Fullerton apartment. The Fullerton Police Department’s Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call from a male reporting that four of his friends had overdosed and were not breathing. Upon arrival, police and paramedics found four adults dead inside. While officials did not immediately state what caused the deaths, they indicated there was no threat to the public. Preliminary information suggests all four may have died due to a drug overdose. A friend of the decedents told KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade on Tuesday night that all of them were on the same softball team and had come to the apartment to hang out with another teammate when the tragedy occurred.
