The charges were dropped under the Good Samaritan law, which dissolves charges when someone has a potentially lethal amount of drugs inside them. “She’s good. She’s getting through it,” Bon Jovi told Metro. “She’s healthy. The greatest gift that I have is that I have her. We’ll get through this. It was a shock for everybody and hopefully, we learn from these life lessons.”

She was doing great, then a sudden and steep decline.” “It was a terrible speed bump that we got over,” Bon Jovi told People. “There was no need to be any closer to our kids. We couldn’t get any closer.” A year after her overdose, though, in 2012, she got work as an assistant at The Weinstein Company, and in 2015, she worked as an intern at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and at Vice Media. Her LinkedIn profile says she is a freelance production assistant.
