Nov. 29, 2018 – According to court documents, Shriharsh Laxman Pole, 65, was operating the Excel Medical Clinic in Woodbridge even though his medical license was suspended in 2009 for improper prescription of opiates. Federal prosecutors say Pole worked with a nurse practitioner in Fredericksburg and another physician to prescribe the medications. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
