August 22, 2021 – “We do not post standard cash rates, which typically will not reflect the price of care for uninsured patients.” Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, has not published its cash prices. The hospital initially posted a 2.5 GB data file composed almost entirely of more than one million lines that contained no data. After The Times inquired about the large file size, the hospital reduced it to a 1.4 MB file.
