But her true addiction, according to her overbearing psychologist father, was her need to control powerful men; stemming from her disappointment with her own unfaithful father. Gambling is also a type of addiction, which many of the poker players developed. Contrary to her belief, Molly did not directly cause her high-end poker players to develop an addiction to gambling; but she was an enabler.
