Jan. 6, 2025 – “The lovely, relaxed feeling that alcohol gives without the negative impact” The brainchild of Professor David Nutt and his team, the non-alcoholic drinks from Sentia Spirits are designed to be an ‘effective alternative to drinking low levels of alcohol’. In order to replicate the hard stuff, the drinks essentially trick the brain’s internal chemistry into thinking it’s tipsy.

In an interview with The Independent, Professor Nutt explained: “It’s a drink that is based on the science of alcohol, particularly the low doses of alcohol that relax you and make you more sociable.”

There are currently three different spirits up for grabs online and they’re each designed for different occasions: Sentia Red, Sentia Black, and Sentia Gold. You can find out what each beverage has been created for below.
