FEBRUARY 2, 2019 -plashing shamefully obvious double entendres onto millions of screens watched by children, Devour’s commercial treats porn addiction like a game. Worse, since the commercial likens it to the product the company is trying to make look appealing, Devour is not-so-subtly encouraging porn addiction. Even if not a single child is induced to laugh at something so dangerous, the commercial normalizes the destructive behavior of many of the adults who will be watching the Super Bowl. Porn addicts should not have their behavior excused. Marriages are being broken, lives ruined, and a countless number of women and children (and men) are trapped in sex trafficking because of the porn industry. Devour Foods and their parent company Kraft Heinz should be ashamed of their Super Bowl commercial.
