Another added, ‘33 years, that’s amazing. I’m on 2 and a half years and I thought that was good,’ while one user said Lowe’s story was inspirational.
‘I still have hope for my 25 year old son,’ the user said. ‘Seeing these stories keep me going.’
Lowe last month presented his son John Owen Lowe with a five-year sobriety chip on The Drew Barrymore Show.
The emotional exchange occurred during a discussion about staying sober, a feat both father and son, and host Barrymore have achieved.
