Recovery Advocate Arrested on Drug, Assault charges

Another One? With Violence! –

August 2, 2019 – Harvey is a public advocate for recovery and founded Journey House, which operates four sober living homes in Maine. According to court documents, Harvey was arrested on July 23 when a police officer witnessed him cause a rear-end crash in Portland. An affidavit said Harvey failed sobriety tests and a drug recognition expert determined he was under the influence of alcohol and depressants. Harvey was arrested and charged with criminal OUI and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. He posted bail and was released with conditions that he not commit any crimes or possess or use drugs and alcohol.
