Rabbi and Wife Star in Documentary About LA Treatment Facility

COUPLE SAVING SOULS –

June 15, 2022 – “I introduced myself, welcomed her, and she got defensive, snobby and bitchy right away. I just kept saying, ‘We just want to tell you what we need,’” Borovitz recalled. Rossetto replied, according to him, “Well if you’re so smart, when you get out, you can come help me.”

Sure enough, when he was released from prison in 1988, Borovitz walked into Beit T’Shuvah.

Though they seemed an unlikely pairing, together they ended up saving thousands of lives through Beit T’Shuvah. During their three decades at the center, they provided a number of treatment and recovery programs oriented around Jewish teachings. They have since retired to Palm Desert.
