November 21, 2019 – Danny Conroy, co-founder of the 20-year-old AIM House group home in Boulder, attended the meeting to help Bosma answer questions. The AIM facility provides a sober living environment for people who have battled addiction or mental health issues. Bosma has yet to choose an operator for the facility if it is approved, but said he would consider Conroy if the AIM House leader had a desire to run it, as well as others who run similar group home programs in the area.
A group home use is allowed by right in the zoning district, which is residential high-density-2.
