DECEMBER 05, 2018 – Near-death experiences and unforeseen miracles brought author Herb Klingele to a new understanding and appreciation for life. Klingele’s debut memoir, “Soul Sanctuary: Notorious nonfiction stories of romance, suspense, and miracles” (published by Balboa Press), presents those events as well as how he was able to turn his life around. Over the course of his life, Klingele had trouble with the law and struggled with alcoholism and drugs. It wasn’t until his third wife left him, that his life changed. The author describes how he was able to recover with the help of God after he prayed. Through rehab and a 12-step program, Klingele has been sober for 16 years. The author hopes that his book will help others and plans to donate any profit from the book.
