August 2, 2019 – “Dr. Wincott is part of the next generation of treatment experts who will lead advancements in how to combat addiction,” said Jessica Hulsey Nickel, founder and president of Addiction Policy Forum. “With her first-hand experience in researching the biology of addiction, Dr. Wincott will be able to provide research-led insight on Addiction Policy Forum projects and initiatives.” In addition to her work in the field, Dr. Wincott is an award-winning filmmaker, whose short films have been screened internationally and focus on topics related to mental health and psychology.
