June 28, 2018 – 1. Marco Rubio killed a critical prescription drug monitoring program over “politics.” Florida had the chance to implement a program that would track overprescribing by doctors – considered a “silver bullet” against pill mills – but one person blocked it in 2002, early in the opioid crisis, according to the Post: “And there was one person who was responsible,” said former state Sen. Burt, now an Ormond Beach insurance executive. “And it was Marco Rubio.”
