Man Walking 700 Miles to Help Fight Addiction

ONE MILE AT A TIME –

August 26, 2021 – The 54-year-old is walking from Okeechobee County to Snow Camp North Carolina. After 40 years of addiction, he’s been sober for nearly five years.

He’s walking to raise money for others fighting addiction in Volusia County.

“This is a program that’s going to bring you out of your addiction, bring you back into society, teach you life skills, construction, farming, just life skills, instead of robbing and stealing and doing the things that us addicts do. (It’ll) provide a new life and set you up for success. That’s my ultimate goal,” Graham said.

Graham started The Pit Ministries, a nonprofit, to help those in need. He is planning to walk more than 700 miles to raise $200,000.
