Surprising fact: “I always thought I would be a marine biologist and wanted to spend my career in and on the ocean. Funny thing is, on my first deep sea fishing trip, I got terribly seasick. So much so, they put my diving gear on a pulled me behind the boat for a while to give me a break from the nausea. At the time, I had been in automotive about 2 years and realized it was a good thing I switched gears.”
