How to Avoid the Toxic Drinking Culture this Christmas…without missing out

UBER –

Dec. 4, 2021 – “Because alcohol is a depressive, it might make you feel down and cause anxiety symptoms. Heavy drinking can also make medicines less effective, causing feelings of depression to increase.” However, cutting back on booze doesn’t have to mean missing out on holiday festivities.

Mr. Preston explained: “Cutting back on alcohol doesn’t have to mean abandoning your social life, but maintaining sobriety in a social atmosphere, particularly during the holiday season, can be difficult.

“Educating yourself on alcoholism and developing a plan to drink in moderation will help you preserve your personal mental and physical health if you have decided to cut back on alcohol.”
