Handbag maker helps female employees stay 100% sober

June 2, 2019 – The women of the nonprofit create handmade and custom handbags from “upcycled” materials. Through an apprenticeship program that leads to full-time employment, the women learn valuable skills that can lead to economic independence and successful pathways toward maintaining sobriety … The handcrafted and custom bags can be ordered from the organization’s website, www.unshattered.org. The women of Unshattered welcome wholesale accounts, and handcrafted bags can also be purchased at select boutiques and pop-up events throughout the country.
