‘Halt and Catch Fire’ actress Lisa Sheridan’s cause of death was chronic alcoholism

Too Young, Too Soon, Too Tragic –

MAY 11, 2019 – We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel, Sheridan’s manger Mitch Clem told People days after her Feb. 25 death. He adamantly asserted she did not take her own life. “The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely 100% unfounded.” Sheridan had previously been engaged to actor Ron Livingston, best known for his role as Peter Gibbons in the 1999 comedy “Office Space.” The two met while shooting the 2000 independent film “Beat,” which chronicled the life of author William S. Burroughs. The actress was born in Macon, Ga., in 1974 and attended Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
