Former Clinton aide shares his story for people recovering from addiction

MAY 17, 2019 – Eventually he sought treatment and lived in a long-term recovery house, leaning on that support system to kick his habit. Today, he’s using his political knowledge to organize people to advocate for funding and policies to help others recover.

Hampton, the author of “American Fix,” a book about the opioid crisis, will share his story as he encourages hundreds of Lehigh Valley residents to fight the opioid epidemic politically. He is a featured speaker Sunday at the third annual Rally in the Valley event, which celebrates addiction recovery and connects people with resources.
