So it’s hard to see the human side of people. I understand that. But everyone deserves to be recognized and helped and- compassion. We need compassion to work with them.” “No one chooses this. It is a disease. And there is medically assisted treatment. People need to understand there are ways, like any disease, that there is treatment for this. But if you’re to ashamed, or if you’re shunned, the stigma gets in the way of asking for help.
