Ex-Yankees Ace CC Sabathia Celebrates 7 Years of Sobriety

SORT OF LIKE A PERFECT GAME –

Oct. 5, 2022 – Sabathia, 42, has been sober since the end of the 2015 season. He checked himself into rehab before the Yankees’ Wild Card game against the Houston Astros. He then returned to baseball for the 2016 season. In his 11 years with the New York Yankees he recorded a 3.81 ERA. He was a Cy Young Award recipient and six-time All-Star. The lefty pitcher opened up about his journey to sobriety and checking into rehab in his book, Till the End.
