Dec. 30, 2017 – Recovery Centers of America is in negotiations with the Aspen Institute to purchase the River House and a portion of the Houghton House parcel … The conference center, which boasts 18th century English gardens, two outdoor pools, a tennis court, and scenic trails for walking and biking, is an exclusive site that has hosted several historic meetings such as the 1998 Wye Accord for Peace in the Middle East, attended by President Bill Clinton. Griffith says RCA proposes to keep the look of a residential home, but the desire is to keep the same footprint and Griffith believes it would be appropriate to keep with the residential look.
