Drew Barrymore’s ‘wild, rebellious’ Younger Self

May 17, 2022 – “I like trying to tell myself to please react with grace. Be on the high road. Don’t flip out about everything. Find calm, find peace,” she said, noting today’s priorities are miles away from those of yesteryear.  “I would’ve never thought those things were possible, nor did I really want them at that time. Now I want them.”

The “Drew Barrymore Show” host in December appeared on “CBS This Morning,” during which she reflected on sobriety and said she had previously come to a point wherein she “realized” that alcohol “just did not serve me and my life.”
