April 8, 2020 – This came at the right time for me. A reminder to stop scrolling, as I was using my technology as a way to avoid some powerful feelings of grief which this current situation had triggered within me. After a lot of sobbing in the shower I felt a whole lot lighter! You realize how much energy and distraction is required to hold these feelings in, and that it doesn’t kill you to feel them, in fact more damage is done when you don’t. It’s really helpful to be able to trace back these feelings and now offer comfort, reassurance and validation to myself from myself. I’ve been working a long time on my healing but still get off track, so was inspired by your conversation today. Blessings to all in your healing journeys xxx
