Oct. 11, 2023 – Since 2016, Bikers Against Addiction has been on a mission to make a difference in the lives of those affected by addiction, particularly the children of parents in recovery. With a dedicated team led by founder and president Jessica Shaw, this organization has organized events and initiatives to support drug and alcohol recovery programs and provide Christmas gifts to children in need.
One of their most heartwarming projects is the collection of new bicycles, tricycles, scooters and skateboards to be given as Christmas presents to children whose parents are on the path to recovery. Bikers Against Addiction’s commitment to easing the burden on these families is truly commendable.
To bring this cause to life, Bikers Against Addiction collaborates with various service organizations including Hunt County Kids, Hunt County Children’s Advocacy Center and Nexus Recovery Center to ensure that these gifts reach the children of addiction.
