June 4, 2018 – Apple will now let its customers FaceTime with 31 of their closest friends. The iPhone maker announced Monday at its annual developers conference that it would be expanding its video chat platform from one-on-one calls to allow for as many as 32 participants. Apple shares soared to a 52-week high on the news and preceded to sell off. FaceTime callers will see participants show up as tiles on the screen, with the largest tile belonging whoever is speaking at a given moment.
