5th Year Anniversary Letter
5th Year Anniversary Letter from the Editor
August 1, 2017
OMG! We are celebrating the 5-year anniversary of the Addiction/Recovery eBulletin! 260 editions, over 7800 different articles, and more than 24,000 subscribers.
When I was a Boy Scout growing up in Philadelphia, I learned the importance of always carrying a flashlight – it reveals that which is concealed, helps bring focus to the moment, and provides guidance when seeking a safe path.
Every week your eBulletin shines a light on up to 32 of the most interesting articles and features concerning the world of addiction in all its manifestations, recovery in all its glory, the treatment arena in all 50 states, and the social ills, mental illnesses and corrupt behavior that have become characteristic of contemporary culture.
We have over 10,000 loyal readers every week. And that number is growing. Even though we’re located near Beverly Hills, there is nothing FAKE about our news. Nothing artificial has every been added to keep our readers abreast of everything from celebrity sobriety to criminal scandals. We highlight important, informational, empowering and entertaining stories.
I love hearing from readers who constantly tell me that the eBulletin is their primary source of addiction/recovery news. If there is a published press release about you, your facility or an event that the public needs to know, please send me a link to the article and we’ll consider sharing it with our readers.
Another new feature of the ebulletin is the bi-weekly “Executive’s Corner” in which we spotlight an individual who, by their leadership and accomplishments, warrents special recognition and community appreciation. (http://addictionrecoveryebulletin.org/original/)
If you would like to be featured, please drop me a line. We will send you 40 questions and you choose the 20 you want to answer. When published, we will include your bio, photograph, and a link to your website.
We are very proud of our fans who took the time to send in their testimonials. (http://addictionrecoveryebulletin.org/testimonial-page/)
Yes, we occasionally aggravate when we aggregate, although never intentionally, and only in the interest of shining that flashlight onto the darkness.
I want to thank my dedicated staff at the eBulletin, and especially want to express my gratitude to our advertisers and underwriters who make this eBulletin possible. We have a new cleaner layout (that’s old newspaper lingo) that will accentuate your eBanner ad to penetrate even more viewers’ minds.
A final word – we pledge to continue doing what we do, the best way we know how. Keep reading. More will be revealed.
Sincerely,
Leonard Lee Buschel
